Your First Visit, Made Clear and Simple

We’ll guide you through each step so your first visit feels clear, supportive, and easy to navigate.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first visit is a comprehensive but conversational evaluation focused on understanding you. Below are some areas we are likely to explore:

  • What’s bringing you in and your current concerns
  • Your medical and mental health history
  • Past treatments and what has or hasn’t helped
  • Your goals for care
  • Important personal, cultural, or life factors

This appointment typically lasts 60 minutes and is focused on building a clear, collaborative understanding of your needs.

You’ll leave with:

  • A clear understanding of your concerns
  • A personalized plan for next steps
  • Guidance on treatment options (if appropriate)
  • Time to ask questions and feel heard

Before Your Appointment

To help us make the most of your visit, we’ll ask you to complete a few simple steps ahead of time.

Telehealth Appointments

Secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual visits for patients who prefer care from home.

For the best experience:

  • Choose a quiet, private space
  • Ensure a stable internet connection
  • Test your camera and microphone
  • Log in a few minutes early

Telehealth visits are just as thorough and personalized as in-person care.

Our Approach to New Patients

Starting care can feel overwhelming. We aim to make the process clear, supportive, and centered around you.

  • Clear — you’ll always know what to expect
  • Collaborative — your voice and goals guide treatment
  • Respectful — your identity and experiences matter
  • Supportive — we meet you where you are, without judgment

Cancellation & No Show Policy

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a fee, as they limit availability for other patients.

If something comes up, please reach out—we’re happy to help you reschedule.

Payment Information

We accept:

  • Insurance (see Insurance & Pricing page)
  • Credit/debit cards
  • HSA/FSA cards

Payment is due at the time of service.

We’ll review your benefits with you in advance so there are no surprises.
