Emmanuel Matheri, DNP, PMHNP BC

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner | Lead Provider, Tranquility Tree Psychiatry

I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 13 years of nursing experience across medical, community, and outpatient mental health settings. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults to provide thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in understanding your full story—not just your symptoms. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, managing ongoing challenges, or seeking clarity, I aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.

I completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training at the University of South Alabama. I continue to build on that foundation through ongoing education, seminars, and clinical training—so I can provide care that is current, thoughtful, and responsive to each patient’s needs.

I bring a warm, grounded presence to my work and am deeply committed to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals from underserved and marginalized communities. My approach is collaborative and focused on creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood.

Approach to care

I believe care works best when it is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in trust. My goal is to help you better understand what you’re experiencing and work with you to create a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with your life.
